*We require dogs to be crate trained to ensure their safety and success. Would you be willing to introduce a crate into your routine two weeks prior to training? (If not already)
*Where does your dog sleep at night?
*Is your dog allowed on the furniture?
*Would you be willing to set boundaries and add structure to your dogs life before and after training? (specifics will be explained before drop off)
*Is your dog free-fed (they have access to food all day)?
*Would you be willing to stop free feeding your dog before training?
Evaluation of Problem Behaviors
*Does your dog show aggression towards other dogs?
Does your dog show reactivity towards other dogs? This can be due to excitement, aggression, or fear.
*Does your dog show aggression towards humans?
*Does your dog show reactivity towards humans? This can be due to excitement, aggression, or fear.
*Does your dog have separation issues (barks, whines or pants excessively when you leave)?
*Does your dog display any problematic or unwanted barking (e.g., for attention, at other people, in response to loud noises, etc.)?
*Does your dog jump or play bite?
*Does your dog chase animals, cars, bikes, etc?
*Is your dog demanding or pushy for attention?
*Does your dog dig holes or chew and destroy things (besides their own toys)?
*Is your dog disobedient or defiant?
*Is your dog insecure or nervous?
*Is your dog territorial?
*Does your dog resource guard (do they become aggressive and possessive over food or toys)?
*Does you dog pull on the leash when you walk them?
*Do you acknowledge that a Board and Train provides a solid foundation, but consistent follow-through and maintenance are REQUIRED to ensure your dog’s success?
